How to - Join and open downloads

Procedure for opening files that have more than one part (part1.rar, part2.rar, etc…)

Step 1

If you don’t already have hjsplit, download a free copy and install it.
You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login

Step 2

Make sure all parts of the movie is located in one folder

Step 3

Open hjsplit.exe and press ‘Join’



Step 4

Select the file with 001 or Part1 as input file
Take note of the output location– that’s where the joined file will be found (it is usually same folder)



Press start and that should join them

Step 5

Open the joined file with winRAR (usual procedure, close any license requests etc.) and extract!


That should do the trick... if not, something's wrong with the files... Sometimes they get screwed up while uploading... Check with the poster if you have problems with the files (corrupt files)...

Note
You can use a program like QuickPAR to make sure you have a complete file, and to repair it if necessary...

PAR2-files are recovery-files, and they are only needed if the download of the original files did not complete successfully... Not quite sure if it will help is the uploader's manager crapped out or something, but will get to that...

Edit: The person I found this for said it worked a treat... so mac users feel free to download for split files...
