Where did you get those movies? Do they belong to the Interrogatio-series? I've seen a couple of episodes. Unfortunaltely the actors act poor and the camera-work is amateur-level.

They are not classified as "medieval". I heard about that website and it looks interesting, especially for the "aesthetic appearance" of bondage positions. I should have several pics from it on my hard drives. However promo pics form DeviceBondage are pretty common on the web.

Back to the original topic: I recognize medieval sets have their "charm" but I have "issues" with that age. It's a long story but I prefer contemporary or futuristic sets for my fantasies.

The pics posted around are arousing and after all this is the most important element

From what I am aware, almost all bondage devices have evolved from medieval times or from times before that. Thay is saying that most have past origins. The BDSM makes sexual uses of them. The 1st picture there a variation of the hanging cage or gibbet for example. The ones they use in movies are variations of designs that are tried and true and they have come up with some funny looking metal bondage like in the second last picture with the blonde that looks effective.

These are for brutality and nothing like what is shown in the Inquisition, History of Torture and other movies. In those movies I like the part before they start the torture where the girl looks all distressed and afraid. After that it gets fake or flakey like most movies around these days

I think the funny looking metal bondage could be coming from bamboo bondage. Looks like something from oriental bondage.

thanks for your answers and your suggestions! I found the occasional hell page very interesting! I also knew the "interrogatio" series before and I've even watched a couple of films done by them. Unfortunately the quality of the acting and of the filming is poor. Device B0ndage and In fer nal Restalnts are very interesting, too. But I very much dislike the boring "Pipe"-bondage of device...

Yeah, the pipe type bondage doesn't really look like bondage for some reason. Or maybe it just doesn't fit our perception of bondage. Don't know much about it to comment really.
